Hi I’m Mataylah Meis, I launched MEIS in 2018 after dropping out of high school, starting with a dream to build a streetwear brand. Growing up I faced many life altering challenges such as bullying, body image issues, loneliness, and mental health struggles but I refused to give up.

MEIS began as a passion project, but has now grown beyond what I ever imagined. My goal is to keep it authentic and create a welcoming space where everyone can be themselves. I want to grow a community of people who’ve faced hardship, providing a supportive environment that embraces individuality. MEIS is more than a brand it’s a movement to empower people to be their true selves.
